Class Session: Saturday, August 9th, 2025, 11AM-4PM ET

This workshop is taught via Zoom and has live instruction and video content. I’ll begin with a short lecture of the basic concepts used in the Paper Star Quilt, followed by a review of curved piecing and Yseam construction. The majority of the class will be hands-on construction of the quilt block. Each student should expect to complete some piecing, and assemble one Yseam quilt block during class.

The class is one session, 5 hours in length. All students will have plenty of time for questions and discussion. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure your device can successfully run Zoom before purchasing the class. After you complete the purchase, you will receive a confirmation email. The supply list and zoom link will come at a later date before the class. There is a small amount of pre-work required (reading through the pattern, printing pattern templates, and collecting a fabric palette).

Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced - prior curved piecing experience is helpful.
