Scallop Pouch Pattern

$10.00

This listing is for a digital PDF download with instructions and templates to make a Scallop Pouch in 3 different sizes: Small, Medium, and Large. Each size has two different corner options, a flat pouch or a boxed corner pouch. Included in the pattern are links to two video tutorials: creating the scallops and sewing a zipper! Check out all the photos in the listing for size and print inspiration!

The small measures approximately 4 x 11 x 3 (H x L x W) inches. The medium measures approximately 6 1/2 x 11 x 3 inches. The large measures approximately 9 x 11 x 3 inches.

The inspiration: I wanted to make a pouch to keep my small treasures within my larger bags. The addition of scallops on the exterior of the pouch add a little something special, and it’s also a way to showcase some of the amazing prints in my stash! Now I have a pouch for charging cords, toiletries, small sewing accessories… I even keep a small needlepoint kit in the large size pouch! Cheers!

This is a beginner sewing project. Most supplies required are ones that quilters typically have on hand:

Cotton / canvas pouch fabric, cotton interior / lining fabric, lightweight fusible interfacing, basic sewing supplies, rotary cutter & mat (or scissors), ruler, point turner (or That Purple Thang), iron, ironing board, pins, and coordinating thread. Add a 12 inch zipper to this list and you can make a pouch!

The scallop templates can be printed on either US Letter or A4 size paper.

Skill Level: Confident Beginner
